| Bio: | I write Perl. Lots of Perl. Sometimes it's useful. More frequently it's reimplementations of commands I'm too lazy to read the docs for right on the command line. Asking me questions about Perl probably isn't a great idea. I write a horrid, non-idiomatic style of Perl that looks like C/C++. Despite being a Unix geek, of late I do C#, too. My excuse is the Mono project. To my shock, I managed to write the original version of AutoKeen clone AutoFox without critical flaws or performance problems. The second major version was the result of significant work on the first version by myself and ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} captainspam, who I've now turned over maintenance to.I also write fiction. Mostly in my head, but sometimes my fingers manage to type some of it without screaming in pain. No, you can't read any of it. No, you wouldn't want to anyway. In the continuing saga of where-do-I-live-this-week, I got a job and moved to Silicon Valley. It's hot, but at least it's not a desert. Fully expect to one day end up outside Earth's atmosphere.
